Reisser makes trio of appointments

Reisser, supplier of wood screws and power tool accessories, has made three appointments to its senior team, including a new managing director and two new product managers.
Jane O’Neill has been promoted to managing director of Reisser Ltd after 24 years of service. She was appointed commercial director in March 1991 and became a shareholder in 1997, increasing that shareholding in 2013.

Within the Reisser Group of Companies O’Neill is a director and shareholder of Pak-Pro Ltd (The Logistics Company for Reisser), Reisser Ireland Ltd, ARB Sales Ltd and JC Wholesale Imports Ireland Ltd. She started Pak-Pro, Reisser Ireland and JC Wholesale herself.

Charles Ledigo, chairman of Reisser, said: “Reisser is delighted to appoint Jane as our Managing Director and we are thrilled that a person with her considerable skills has the opportunity to help lead us through what will be a time of growth and progress.”

Jon Peach has been recruited as product manager, Screws & Fixings. As part of his new role, Peach will be helping to manage the current range of Reisser screws and fixings, as well as contributing towards the development and introduction of new and innovative products.

“I am really pleased to be joining Reisser, it is a great opportunity to join a first-class team, and I am looking forward to getting involved in all aspects of my new role,” he said.

Having spent 11 years in the Timber industry, Peach went on to spend 19 years working at a fixings distributor in a variety of roles over that time, including the position of area sales manager for North West of England and Ireland.

Mark Elliott has been appointed as product manager, Power Tool Accessories. His main role is to further develop the Reisser PTA range, including new packaging together with new ranges and sizes under the Reisser brand.

He has 32 years of experience in the field of hand and power tool sales, both as product manager and as an area sales manager with various companies in the fixings industry.

“I am delighted to join Reisser and to have been given the opportunity to work with a market leading brand,” said Elliott.
