Rainstore wins excellence mark

RainStore the rainwater storage system from Titan Environmental has been awarded the Waterwise Marque of Excellence

The Titan RainStore large capacity, above ground rainwater storage tank range harvests rainwater by storing it in a rotationally moulded storage tank, that’s durable and comes equipped with a calmed inlet, overflow siphon, water inlet and 16 inch lid. Sizes in the commercial sector range from 1,300 to 10,000 litres.

In addition, RainStore is now eligible under the 100% enhanced capital allowances scheme (www.eca-water.gov.uk ) because it’s recognised on the Qualified Water Technology list. In effect, this means that in the majority of cases, businesses can set the full cost of the product against their tax in first year of purchase.

To date, there are 25 Waterwise-selected products across a broad range for saving water indoor and outdoors. The Marque is awarded annually to products which reduce water wastage or raise the awareness of water efficiency and is judged by a panel of independent experts, each a specialist in the separate criteria of entry.
