Radcliffe Building Supplies acquired by Beesley & Fildes

North West based builders merchant, Beesley & Fildes, has announced it has completed the purchase of Radcliffe Building Supplies.

Radcliffe Building Supplies acquired by Beesley & Fildes

The Greater Manchester business became available to purchase following the retirement of Fred Wilkinson who founded the company over 30 years ago.

Established since 1820, Beesley & Fildes are a family owned company with eight depots throughout the North West and offers online trading.

The merchant said the site in Radcliffe will be transformed with a substantial investment programme to offer one of the most comprehensive services to the construction and maintenance markets in the region.

Commenting on the acquisition, Beesley & Fildes managing director, Lee Davies, said: “The acquisition of this site in Manchester will help in expanding operations throughout the North West.”
