PTS meet their match…

A recent charity football match, organised by PTS, has raised over £2,800 for Age Concern as staff and suppliers pitted their ball skills against an all-star line up of retired professionals.

PTS meet their match...

The match took place on April 17 at the PTS Stadium in Stockton on Tees, the home of Billingham Sythonia FC who have been sponsored by the company since August 2007. The team of ex-professionals included John Hendrie, Gary Pallister, Viv Anderson, Craig Hignett and Chris Kamara, who, despite the best efforts of the amateur team, won with a final score of 6-0.

PTS area director for the North East, and one of the players on the day, Ian Benoliel said: “Of course we would have preferred a better score line for the PTS team, but the real result was the huge amount we raised for Age Concern. Given the terrible weather conditions it was a brilliant turnout so thank you to everyone who gave their support and made this such an enjoyable event.”
