Plumbers merchants PTS Plumbing Trade Supplies have appointed Ian Stares as product group manager for renewable and sustainable energy products.

This new role has will allow the company to develop the renewable energy offering even further.

Stares will support the provision of renewable energy products PTS’ 300 nationwide branches, provide product awareness training for both PTS staff and customers and help roll out the renewable energy branches across the group.

Part of the BSS Group, PTS opened their first renewable energy branch in Aylesford, Kent, in September. The branch is featured in BMJ’s January 2009 issue.
