Polyguard from Polypipe is a barrier system which ensures the delivery of safe drinking water to brownfield sites which may have been contaminated through previous commercial or industrial use.

Polyguard protects potable water from a wide range of potential contaminants including organic and inorganic, corrosive and toxic elements.

Comprising pipe and fittings Polyguard is a complete , cost effective, easy-to-install, lightweight alternative to traditional materials: the pipe is made from two layers of flexible polyethylene with a central layer of aluminium which forms an impenetrable barrier. The brown striped outer layer ensures clear and easy identification of installed pipe. Three sizes are available – 25, 32 and 63mm – all supplied in 50m coils.

There’s a wide range of brassware tees, elbows, standard and transition couplings to complement the product, incorporating a special insert designed to ensure a perfect guard against contaminants.
