148 players gathered from all over Devon and Cornwall to compete for individual and team trophies and of course generate money for the NSPCC. They played at Elfordleigh Golf Club in Plympton, Plymouth.

PTS managing director Alan Ball said: “Golf is one of my favourite hobbies, so to be able to challenge some of my colleagues, our customers and suppliers seemed like the best fundraising idea yet this year! The charity raffle was a massive success – with all players from the day pitching in to raise over £1,500.”

PTS named the NSPCC as its partner charity at the start of 2008.
