Plumbase adds to sales and operations role

Plumbers’ merchant Plumbase has appointed Matthew Longford as its new head of sales and operations, focused on driving sales and margin growth.

Longford has previously worked in retail and distribution before he moved into the HVAC sector. He was formerly general manager for domestic boiler manufacturer Ravenheat Manufacturing.

“It’s a great opportunity to advance my career and be involved in an evolutionary merchanting sector as we advance our operations to be relevant to our current and future customers,” said Longford.

Plumbase managing director Mark Bradley added: “We’re delighted to welcome Matthew to the Plumbase team. The experience and installer interaction he has gained from his well-established career will no doubt be invaluable to ourselves and our customers.”
