Plumb Center updates iPhone App

Plumbers merchant Plumb Center and sister Wolseley company Parts Center have updated the pair’s iPhone application.

Based on user feedback, the improvements include a directory of all the manufacturers who supply products to the merchant, with links.

The application also allows installers to locate their nearest branch quickly and easily, keeps them up-to-date with the latest offers and promotions, and shares industry news.

Users can also choose a branch from the A-Z list and once they have found the branch they want there is a link to call the branch, check opening times or go directly to the Maps application to get directions.

Julie McLean, Plumb and Parts Center Head of Marketing, says: “We are always trying to find ways to make the lives of installers easier. These new features will remove all that time wasting hassle and put the contact information they need at their fingertips.”
