KPMG, the administrators for tile firm Pilkingtons are still aiming to sell the company’s site in Swinton, Manchester.
The factory in Poole has already ceased operations, however the Swinton site is still tradin, despite losing 241 jobs in July.
A KPMG spokesperson said that an announcement could be made in a matter of weeks.
Pilkington’s Group plc, which includes Pilkington’s Tiles (Ireland) Ltd and Quiligotti Access Flooring, went into administration in June this year , blaming cash flow problems and tough trading conditions in the furniture and floor coverings sector.
