PHG reaches 21 members

The specialist independent builders and plumbers merchant buying group Plumbing and Heating Buying Group has a new member.
Woodhouse & Sturnham Ltd. will be joining PHG with effect from 1st October 2013.

Founded in 1978, Woodhouse & Sturnham and sister company WSK Ltd. operate from 3 branches in

Peterborough, St. Neots and Spalding and they are delighted to become the 21st member of PHG.

Managing director John Sturnham said, ‘Joining a buying association has been on our agenda for some time

but once we were aware of the PHG formation we knew that was the group for us.

“We feel proud and privileged to be sitting around the table with some of the best businesses in our sector

and we are sure that membership will prove fundamental to our own expansion plans.’

PHG Chairman David Pochin said: “John Sturnham and his team run a highly respected and substantial business that will sit very well with our existing membership. Expanding the group is important but we will only act when we see an opportunity to add to our quality and provide our suppliers with increasing volumes.’
