NMBS promises ‘best ever’ trade exhibition

Independent builders merchants buying group NMBS is hoping its 2010 annual trade exhibition will be the best ever.

NMBS promises 'best ever' trade exhibition

The 2010 NMBS Trade Exhibition takes place at the Telford International Centre, Telford, on May 12, with a Gala Dinner the evening before. It will include a range of building, plumbing, hardware and timber exhibitors, across two separate halls, with special tool and demonstration zones, where visitors can see everything from the latest hard landscaping products, to the most innovative new designs in bathroom and power tools products.

Running since 1968, the NMBS Trade Exhibition has been inspiring merchant members to not only take advantage of the many offers on the day but also to gain new ideas and access to new product ranges.

To reflect the current economic climate, the NMBS Commodity Committees have worked even harder than normal to ensure the very best spot buys and pallet alley deals are available on the day and are very confident this will be the best show ever.

The tool hall has been extended to include more stands and every supplier has been invited to a special pre-sales conference to ensure they are geared up for getting the most from the exhibition and find out how best to present their offers to attract orders and new buyers on the day.

The real benefit of the show to exhibitors is the fact that NMBS members go ready to place orders and many suppliers can make more sales in that one day than in a normal week or even month.

NMBS managing director Chris Hayward says: “The turnout from members is always exceptional but this year it promises to reach a new record high as we believe people are keen to shrug off 2009 and set themselves up for a better 2010. Where else would you start to gain that momentum than the Exhibition in May?

“At NMBS we are confident about the future and look forward to seeing all our key supplier partners and welcoming our members for what should be a very rewarding day for everyone.”
