Independent builders merchant buying group National Merchant Buying Society has launched another smartphone App, this time designed for Blackberry phones.
The launch of the Independent Merchant Locator Application for Blackberry follows the launch of versions for iPhone and Android smartphones. , system NMBS have now launched a Blackberry version.
Available via the Blackberry App World by searching ‘Independents Locator’ the App will provide Blackberry users with access to location details for all NMBS Members.
It will work in the same way as the iPhone and Android App’s in that a user can locate an Independent either by using their phone’s GPS or by inputting their Post Code. The application provides the user clear directions, which includes a map as well as a telephone number and website address.
