NMBS Exhibition moves to Coventry

The NMBS is shaking up its annual exhibition by changing the date and location in a bid to build upon this year’s success.
The Coventry Ricoh Arena will stage the event for the first time on April 9 next year. By moving to a bigger venue, the organisation believes it will be able to attract more visitors to the exhibition and can accommodate more stands under one hall.

Chris Hayward, managing director at NMBS, said: “Continuous improvement has helped make NMBS the organisation it is today and in evaluating this year’s show we have made the decision to trial holding the event earlier in the year and at a different venue.

“It is hoped these changes will help to build on the success of the 2013 show which saw record numbers in terms of visitors, exhibitors and deals.”

With the switch from May to April, the NMBS hopes to help members and suppliers to take advantage of seasonal opportunities such as those relating to the landscaping season.

NMBS have also confirmed that regular favourites of the exhibition such as “spot buy opportunities” and the “NMBS voucher book” will make a return in 2014.
