Independent builders merchant buying group the National Merchant Buying Society have achieved the Investors in People standard, following a review by assessors EMQC.
The assessor commented: “Staff feel that they are well trained; they feel that the contribution they make to NMBS is valued and the management team is effective in developing them and the Business. The Directors and Managers have an excellent Business Planning Process and develop their staff in a very effective manner”.
NMBS managing director Chris Hayward said: “We are extremely proud to have been successful in achieving Investors in People, as it clearly states our commitment to developing our team at NMBS and ensuring a successful future for our business and providing the very best service for both our Members and Suppliers”.
