Banbury-based independent builders, timber, plumbers and heating merchant John Nicholls, hosted an Eco Day to promote the latest green and energy saving products.
Held at the company’s Overthorpe Road site in Banbury, the day was used by Nicholls to trial both the demand for eco products in the local area and the type of products requested.
Products demonstrated ranged from SUDS and rainwater harvesting systems to rigid sun tubes, sheep wool insulation, high efficiency boilers and energy saving showers. Suppliers included SCP Environmental, Bradstone/Charcon, Main, Warmflow, Glidevale, Black Mountain Insulation and Aqualisa.
Chief Executive Andrew Nicholls said: “We are a company that likes to look at the latest products in the marketplace and assess their suitability within Nicholls. The Eco day was a great opportunity for us to do this and from the results we are keen to push ahead with our plans for installing eco products within our branches.
“We have some great suppliers who are happy to work with us on this project and I am looking forward to this latest stage in our growth and development.”
