Stair part specialist, Richard Burbidge, has launched a new utility newel range to eliminate installation issues.

The new range has been designed to easily restore full newel dimensions, when a newel base is not the correct height on an existing or new build application, commercial and residential projects.
The utility newel can be fitted and trimmed to size to ensure the finishing details can be achieved to the highest standard.
The newel posts are available in plain or stop chamfered styles with a height up to 1000mm. Both pine and oak options are available, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Group product marketing manager at Richard Burbidge, Paul Martin said: “We recognize that sometimes problems can arise during existing installations. One common problem we’ve noticed is that the newel base can be incorrectly installed; often it is cut too short, or damaged at the top. The over-sized utility newels can be used to restore correct impressive results, with minimal effort for installers.”
All stair parts from Richard Burbidge come fully strength tested to meet UK regulations.
