Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
As part of Stressline’s expansion plans they look to McGrath to grow their merchant customer base in London and the south east of England, selling the firm’s traditional concrete lintel range and the steel lintel products as well as flooring, cast stone and fencing and walling items.
Based in Colchester, McGrath brings with him a plethora of experience not least from the heavy building materials industry and concrete markets. He has over 30 years of experience selling aggregates, asphalt, bulk cement and concrete, and has worked for Lafarge, Cemex, Quinn Building Products and Easymix Concrete.
McGrath has a TEC certificate in Civil Engineering as well as City and Guilds certificates in Concrete Technology; both Principles and Practical Applications.
Jan’s experience in the industry has seen him build relationships with many merchants, something he is keen to build on with Stressline; he comments:
