Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Lothian Building Supplies has been named Supply Chain Partner of the Year at the Scottish Roofing Contractor of the Year Awards 2010.
The independent merchant, a partner in buying group NBG LLP, picked up the award at a ceremony held by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors in Glasgow last week.
NBG executive chairman Allan Durning says that the group has a strategy of encouraging a diverse range of merchants to join and, in particular, has been focusing on roofing merchants. He says that the Category Management Team for Roofing & Insulation is “delivering value in this important driver for growth for NBG”.
