Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Fourteen Staff, including Kevin and Derek Moran as well as staff from across the company’s five London Stores and their Kilburn Head office took part in the London to Brighton Bike ride 2017 with thousands of other people from across the country.
The team went the extra mile, 756 extra miles in fact as they each took on the 54-mile trip from London. With the help of their suppliers, customers, staff, family and friends they raised £7,200 for the British Heart Foundation who organised the event, £1,500 for Ashford Place a local charity in North West London as well as an additional £1,500 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
It was a great day with all of the team successfully completing the ride and the team are already planning a similar event next year where they hope to raise even more money for great causes.
