The move into Suffolk represents new territory for the Hull-based independent , whose branches now apred from Scotland to Deal in Kent and Honiton in Devon.

The opening of the Haverhill branch comes shortly after the merchant’s 50th opening, in the spa town of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The Haverhill branch offers building, heating and plumbing supplies, through to landscaping and timber essentials, as well as state-of-the-art kitchen and bathroom showrooms.

Branch Director Tony Archer says: “MKM is all about skilled, local staff serving local people – and that’s exactly what MKM Haverhill intends to be. Great product range, prices, and unbeatable customer service.”
