Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
To give the branch’s Polypipe promotional bit of a push, Allan Davis, sales advisor at the Chelmsford branch of builders merchant MKM has built a car.
He used used mainly underground fittings for the wheels and chassis, and soil and waste for the body.
The car is displayed outside the branch providing a real talking point for customers.
Davis said: “We did do something similar a couple of years ago when I built a bike but I have gone one step further this time.”
