Minster marches for charity

Insulation distributor Minster has completed this year’s Charity Challenge to raise nearly £20,000 for Barnados.

Minster marches for charity

A management executive quartet of Nick Ratcliffe, Reece Bailes, Janine McLeod and Tony Walker plus the support squad of Craig Telford and David Morrison – all walked for over 40 hours in six days to fundraise for the charity.

They battled the elements, which meant overcoming some difficult terrain to being at the mercy of the heavens. The walk took the marchers through St Oswalds and past Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles.

Walker said: “It was a fantastic experience altogether, with lots of fun in great company.”
