Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Over a dozen builders merchants and manufacturers are congratulating themselves on being picked for the 2018 edition of the Sunday Times 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
The publication is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises in the UK. As well as identifying 1000 companies, the annual report examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy.
The builders merchants highlighted are: Chandlers Building Materials, Frank Key Group, M Markovitz, Browns BM, Thorncliffe Building Supplies, JT Atkinson and John Nicholls.
David Hebdon, chief operating officer at John Nicholls, said of the company’s involvement: “We are obviously exceptionally proud of this with our local MP even writing to congratulate us.”
Other construction industry names celebrated are: Brickability, EasyTrim, Natural Paving Products, Cheshire Mouldings, Timco, Eurocell and Roman Showers.
