Marley, a roof systems manufacturer, has appointed Stuart Nicholson as its new managing director.
With more than three decades of experience in the construction industry, Nicholson has spent 15 years with Marley, most recently in the role of Roof Systems director.
Nicholson, says: “At Marley, our people are the driving force behind everything we do. As I step into the MD role, it’s all about continually building on our success, continuing to inspire innovation and strengthen our market leading position. We will continue to build on the talent, skills and ingenuity of all our employees, which in turn will bolster the proven performance of our extensive product portfolio for our customers.
“At the same time, we will also continue to help upskill the wider roofing industry, so customers can stay ahead of the changing construction landscape and capitalise on the business opportunities that offers. A key part of this will be investing in our quality-led training resources, which will extend the reach of courses, such as our solar PV installation course for roofing contractors. This will equip contractors will the skills needed to feel confident about the future.”
