Jefferson Tools, a supplier of professional tools and equipment across the UK and Ireland has appointed Marc McCubbin area sales manager for Scotland.
With over 15 years’ experience in the tools and hardware distribution sector, McCubbin brings a proven track record in retail, field sales, and account management to the role.
Based in Glasgow, McCubbin will be responsible for overseeing all sales activity in Scotland, developing relationships with new and existing stockists across the region.
McCubbin began his career in 2007 with a landmark role in the opening of the very first Toolstation branch in Scotland. In 2013, he joined Toolbank and progressed from the sales office to team leader and into the field—covering roles such as building merchant sales representative and area sales manager. During his tenure, he also took on dual responsibility for online sales, gaining valuable insight into the evolving digital tools landscape.
“I’m pleased to step into this role with Jefferson Tools,” McCubbin says. “From day one, I’ve been struck by the positive energy of the team and the company’s family-run culture, which makes it a great environment to thrive in. I’m especially looking forward to representing a single, unified brand that’s built such strong trust in the market—including among agricultural customers and independent stockists across Scotland.”
McCubbin’s appointment is part of Jefferson Tools’ continued investment in its regional sales structure, ensuring customers in every corner of the UK receive personalised support, expert advice, and access to the company’s expanding range of over 2,000 professional tools and equipment.
