Man denies Jewson machinery robbery

A man has denied stealing machinery from builders’ merchant Jewson.

Alan Peacock is alleged to have received two pieces of machinery from builders’ supply firm Jewson on Back Hilton Road in Aberdeen on April 17 last year, before stealing them.

Peacock pleaded not guilty to the accusation through his solicitor at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

A preliminary hearing has been set for July.
