Man accused of Travis Perkins theft

A man has appeared in court accused of stealing hire equipment worth more than £20,000 from companies including builders merchant Travis Perkins.

Royston Millett was accused of stealing from Travis Perkins Ltd, Ready Tool Hire and Brandon Hire in Llanelli as well as HSS Tool Hire in Cwmdu.

The prosecution alleges that he stole items including a Nikita heavy duty breaker and a Hilta diaphragm pump worth £3,235 as well as a diesel mixer and plate compactor worth £3,480 from Ready Tool Hire.

He will next appear on December 20 for committal to Crown Court.
