Lords, the builders and plumbers merchant group, has opened a new branch in Mansfield for its AW Lumb merchant business.
The branch is the first new site for AW Lumb in over 40 years, and comes two years after it was acquired by the Lords Group.
Located on the Crown Farm Industrial Estate, the new branch provides 27,000 sq.ft. of warehouse and office space and within a 2.9 acre site. The location will support the existing AW Lumb branches in Tamworth and Dewsbury to expand their delivery network across the Midlands and beyond.
Shanker Patel, chief executive officer of Lords, said: “The Mansfield branch marks a key step in Lords’ growth strategy and continues the Group’s commitment to supporting our customers new and existing with excellent service, strong stock availability, expert advice and a customer first approach. It will also create new local jobs and provide a convenient new option for customers in the region. Customers can expect a full range of building materials, drylining, timber and insulation products, all supported by experienced teams and reliable delivery
