Long Rake Spar has announced its appointment as the preferred decorative aggregate supplier to the National Buying Group (NBG) and the Bradfords Group.

The supplier said Independent merchants are a pivotal focus for the company as they see their products as being a “major asset for merchants, providing them with the opportunity to offer something more unique and different from that provided by the larger national groups”.
Sarah Hill, marketing director for Long Rake Spar, said: “Merchants are actively seeking to strengthen their market share in landscaping as builders and end users increase demand when improving their gardens.
“Our product range and close working relationships with customers allows merchants to grow their business in this area, through an extensive product selection and reliable marketing support.”
The recent trade agreements build upon Long Rake Spar’s existing success as the appointed supplier to the Cemco (now Fortis) buying group along with h&b and IBC.
