Of the 16, 11 were from Buildbase, three from Jacksons and two from SCA. During the visit, the annual SCA Cup for the highest-performing Buildbase graduate on the timber product knowledge course was presented. This year the cup went to Steve Reynolds of Buildbase Redditch.

Buildbase northern divisional director Stephen Thompstone, who was also on the trip, said: “Steve Reynolds is one of a team of 60 Buildbase Timber Champions. All have been trained in conjunction with the IWSc and SCA and are now spread throughout our business, enabling us to provide a well-informed service for timber to our customers and advise on FSC and PEFC certified products for sustainable building.”
