Lafarge tops CMA list

Cement maker Lafarge has gained the most nominations in the shortlist for this year’s Construction Marketing Awards.

The trend of recent years towards the digital arena continued, with new categories for the awards this year in social media and mobile attracting good numbers of high quality entries. But the category with the biggest entry – Best Campaign over £25,000 – showed a new trend: to fully integrated on & offline campaigns.

Other manufacturers nominated are: IKO PLC, Acheson & Glover, Aggregate Industries, Mira Showers, Hydro International, Kohler Mira, Siniat (formerly Lafarge Plasterboard), Knauf Drywall. Celotex, Polypipe, CEMEX UK, Wienerberger Ltd and Rexel.

Wolseley UK brands Plumb Center and Drain Center are nominated as are plum,bers merchant Graham, Howarth Timber Group and Travis Perkins.
