Kingspan buy Cemex division

Kingspan Insulation, have acquired the Thermabate division of Cemex to complement its existing range of insulation solutions.
Thermabate, which manufactures a range of insulated cavity closers, will be maintained within the Kingspan range and will be manufactured at Kingspan’s new site in Selby.

Kingspan Insulation md Peter Wilson said of the move “We are delighted to welcome Thermabate into the fold. We are always looking to improve the service we offer our customers and the Thermabate range perfectly complements our existing products.

“We are also very excited about the potential for the Selby site, which we have been able to develop as a model of good manufacturing practice, and which will make it easier to maintain the level of service we offer in the North.”
