Keyline opens third rail office

Keyline, the Travis Perkins group’s specialist supplier of rail materials, civils, drainage solutions and heavy building materials, has opened a new Rail & Geotechnics division in Leeds.

The investment will deliver increased accessibility and support to contractors on the upcoming HS2 project.

The new office, located on the Cross Green Industrial Estate, is the third Keyline divisional rail office after Northfleet and Glasgow.

The HS2 project is expected to get underway next year. The scheme, estimated to be costing in the region of £50 billion, will link London, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester.

Richard Wade, head of rail & geotechnical division, Keyline, said: “This new office will further enhance the exceptional levels of service we already provide to our dedicated customers across the UK. HS2 is one of the most ambitious, exciting and innovative projects of our generation and therefore we wanted to strengthen our network and resources in order to offer world-class support to any contractors who will be working on this scheme.”
