SCA Timber Supply Ltd has appointed John Griffiths as managing director of the UK company with effect from 25th November.
Anders Ek will return to his normal role as chairman of SCA Timber Supply UK.
Ek says: “John Griffiths’ expertise stretches across the span of our business interests in the UK. He will be well known to many from his years in the timber & builders’ merchant sector and in DIY retailing. His top level management experience is of a calibre which befits the expansive future of our UK business.
“He will guide our current and future growth plans for the UK business with the help of staff across our four sites and with the full support of our UK board. Stephen King continues in his vital role as commercial director, helping to expand our business with existing and new customers; Alan Mills continues as finance director, and Neil Jones, who joined us this summer, continues as operations director.”
