The nine mile round trip, carrying the 6ft 6in high, 30kg Snowdon door from the Montana range, will be completed by 12 people working in teams of four to take their turn carrying the load.

JB Kind managing director James Cadman is part of the team and says: “This year we are celebrating 30 years in the door industry and St Giles Hospice is also celebrating its 30 year anniversary.

“We’re all in training for the event now so anyone passing our HQ should look out for us carrying a door around the roads of Derbyshire!”

The company’s team will include members from across the firm including the Board, Warehousing, Sales, Transport and Accounts.

Cadman continues: “When our team threw themselves out of a plane, our network of partners, suppliers and merchants were hugely supportive. We are very grateful that you supported our charity work last year and we would be thrilled if you could find a few spare pounds this year to sponsor our Snowdon up Snowdon Challenge.”
