Isover achieves iso14001:2004 for Runcorn site

Insulation manufacturer Isover has achieved Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 certification at its Runcorn manufacturing site.

The certification, which follows extensive external assessment by BSI Management Systems, will enable Isover to support customers further by allowing them to clearly demonstrate their use of sustainable construction products as advocated by the Green Guide, the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM.

Stacey Davis, marketing director for Saint-Gobain Isover, says: “Sustainability is a vitally important factor when specifying products and this achievement will enable us to provide customers with further reassurance that Isover is operating to internationally recognised standards designed to minimise the impact of both our business and the products we manufacture on the environment.”
