IBC welcomes new divisional account managers

The IBC Buying Group has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new divisional account managers.      Simon Dickinson and Mark Walker have joined IBC with responsibility for the Midlands, Wales, North & Scotland regions, and the South region, respectively.SimonDickinson MarkWalker image

Both have extensive experience in the building materials sector. Walker has previously worked for companies including Parker Merchanting and Buildbase, while Dickinson has held Sales Manager roles at Fakro GB, PPG Architectural Coatings and Hunter Plastics.

Walker says, “Becoming part of the IBC team is an exciting new stage in my career. Having spent more than 30 years in the industry, I am looking forward to working with the IBC members and suppliers to strengthen their partnerships and use my vast and varied knowledge of the building supplies industry.”

Dickinson adds, “Joining IBC is a great opportunity for me to help develop the IBC Group, having worked mainly in the supplier sector for the last 20 years. I am looking forward to meeting all our members and working with our market-leading suppliers to strengthen their partnerships.”

Divisional Account Manager Ross Travers will now be responsible for the Inner London region.

Commenting on the new appointments, Commercial Director Paul Read says: “Mark and Simon are both terrific additions to the IBC team, bringing with them a wealth of experience of the building materials industry.
