Building materials supplier Huws Gray has announced the launch of Pitch in, a new community initiative designed to support the grassroots football clubs in local communities.
Huws Gray will award one local grassroots football club with £5,000 worth of building materials to fund a meaningful facility upgrade, helping to create safe, welcoming and more accessible spaces for players, volunteers, families and the wider community.
The campaign will be supported by in-branch materials, customer emails, social media and website promotion, ensuring communities nationwide have the opportunity to take part.
CEO of Huws Gray, Daksh Gupta, commented: “Grassroots football clubs are at the heart of our communities, with growing participation across women’s, juniors and disability teams. Through Pitch in, we’re proud to offer practical support that will help create better, safer spaces for players and families, with this building on our sponsorship of the Professional Game Match Officials. Investing in our communities is an important part of what makes Huws Gray special, and a key component of our corporate purpose.”
Clubs can enter the competition via Huws Gray’s website until April 30, with the winning club announced on May 11.
