Howarth Timber and Building Supplies recently raised over £2000 for its chosen charity, Caudwell Children, thanks to two action-packed golf days in Manchester and Rotherham.

Over 70 Howarth Timber customers turned out in force over the two events to drive forward Howarth’s commitment to the charity that they recently signed a three-year agreement with.
Mark Sowerby, a customer of the Sale branch, was the triumphant winner in Manchester, while Mark Ormroyd from the Bradford branch walked away with first place at the Rotherham event.
Caudwell Children is dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled children and their families across the UK by providing practical and emotional support and Howarth has wasted little time in lending its support through a programme of planned fundraising activities, including dress down days, coffee mornings, a Three Peaks walk and a bespoke darts event at the O2 Academy in Leeds.
Mark Terry, Howarth Timber’s national sales manager, said: “We only signed the agreement with Caudwell Children earlier this year but we are delighted that the entire business has been so enthused from the very outset in a bid to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause.”
