Howarth appoints new Scunthorpe branch manager

Builders and timber merchant Howarth Timber and Building Supplies has appointed Mark Walters as its new branch manager at its Scunthorpe outlet.

Walters, who has seven years’ experience in the timber merchant industry, is looking forward to utilising his skills and expertise to aid the growth of the Warren Road branch.

He said: “I aim to make a real impact at the Scunthorpe branch and hope to make it one of Howarth’s top-performing outlets. Introducing new ranges and products will help us to expand our stock and our customer base, which in turn will see us record robust sales figures.

“I want to ensure that the Howarth brand is well-known in the Scunthorpe area and is the first port of call for tradespeople in our vicinity and beyond.”
