Timber and builders merchant Howarth Timber and Building Supplies has appointed a lightside product manager to introduce new ranges and drive sales across its branches.
John Houston brings with him extensive skills, knowledge and expertise in plumbing and heating operations, having worked in the industry for 28 years.
Eight Howarth branches currently stock plumbing and heating products, but the merchant is continuing to expand in this area and plans to stock plumbing and heating ranges in 10 additional branches as of April.
Houston will introduce these ranges to the additional branches, which will involve liaising with suppliers, dealing with nationwide sales, implementing a core stock range and recruiting specialist plumbing and heating staff.
