Cargotec, the materials handling people, are bringing together their Hiab and Moffett sales and service operations in the UK.
From January 1, the MOFFETT Truck Mounted Forklift will be report to Ismo Leppanen, MD, Hiab Ltd. The Moffett Ltd office and service workshop in Coventy will be retained and the service activities from there will be extended.
The move brings the UK in line with the other countries in which Cargotec operate. Ultimately the UK will have one trading company, Cargotec Ltd with centralised support functions and more integrated sales organisations for Hiab, Kalmar and McGregor products.
