Northamptonshire independent builders merchants Hevey Building Supplies have opened a new timber branch in Kettering.
The branch, on the Telford Way Industrial Estate, saw the creation of seven new jobs and opened with a special launch day, coinciding with the launch of the company’s new loyalty scheme. It takes the company’s total number of branches to three, with the other two in Northampton.
Branch director Dave Wright, said: “We were delighted with the number of companies who visited us on our launch day. We were supported by a number of our suppliers including Elka Flooring, Chippendale Kitchens, Sadolin, FinnForest, Makita and Dickies. The open day also coincided with the launch of our SmartTrade loyalty scheme which enables our customers to redeem points against more than 500 incentives from power tools to holidays on cruise ships!”
Neil Hemmington, director for Hevey said: “The construction industry is suffering at the moment but we continue to look at ways to develop our business and the opening of this branch represents a serious investment for us and also demonstrates our commitment to growth during this difficult time. Our future plans are focussed on opening more branches for building, timber, plumbing and electrical products, where through expert and qualified advice we will be able to provide excellent customer service that we will be able to assist local building companies.”
He continued: “Our customers have already stated that they find our same day or next day delivery on stock items really convenient for saving time as we do all the running around for them to get all their products on site when they need them so they can get on with their job without the hassle or worry.”
