Hevey Building Supplies celebrates Movember

Northampton’s independent builders merchant, Hevey Building Supplies raised over £1500 for prostate cancer charities, by growing facial hair.

The team of seven joined thousands of men across the world growing moustaches during November in an event designed to raise awareness about men’s health issues.

Mick McGuckin, Hevey’s sales director, said “We were only too happy to get involved with Movember, it was great fun and the lads even got quite competitive! We are delighted to have raised so much money for such a great cause. I’m sure the wives are pleased it’s over now though!”
