Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Building material supplier Hanson UK has obtained planning permission to extend five quarries.
The five are at Earls Barton in Northamptonshire, Whiteball near Wellington in Somerset, Rickneys, near Ware in Hertfordshire, Newington in Nottinghamshire and Baston Fen, Lincolnshire.
Between them, the quarries contain nearly seven million tones of sand and gravel.
