Hanson Building Products have published a new pocket-sized guide to their full range of aggregate blocks as a handy reference guide for builders and builders merchants.

The guide gives detailed information about the company’s Facing, Paint Grade and Background blocks with application details and performance profiles, including mean compressive strength, thermal conductivity and dry density figures.

Three product ranges are included in the Facing and Paint Grade Blocks section – Evalast, Evalite and, for low weight applications, Superlite.

The Hanson Background Block offer features six ranges to suit virtually any application. All these are available in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and strengths, and Hanson also manufacture a selection of Coursing Blocks in a standard brick size to complement the blocks and allow for uniformity in the wall.

The durability and sustainability of the ranges is examined in detail. Hanson’s blocks are inherently durable and are manufactured to last the lifetime of the construction into which they are built. Low maintenance requirements, From a sustainable point of view, Hanson aggregate blocks offer excellent thermal and acoustic performance enhance still further their credentials. All Hanson and blocks can be fully recycled.

Hanson Background blocks and Paint Grade Blocks are produced to the requirements of BS EN 771-3.
