Grant Westfield, the company who created the brand Multipanel, has appointed John Mortimer as its new managing director.
Mortimer joined the manufacturer in 2019 from the Formica Group and has spent the past four years managing the sales and marketing teams.
“I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead Grant Westfield. The business has a great heritage, brilliant people, fantastic customers and a very exciting future,” said Mortimer.
Michael Dobson, former director of key accounts, steps into the role of sales director with 18 years of experience at Grant Westfield.
“Through the Multipanel brand, Grant Westfield continues to disrupt the waterproof wall covering market, and with plans for more innovative and trend led product development, it is an incredibly exciting time for the business, and I am delighted to lead the business into its next phase of growth.”
The new managing director brings the experience of being a sales and marketing director, as well as having a first-class Honours Degree, he brings a wealth of knowledge in high-pressure laminate products and engineered surface materials from working with the trade and retail sectors, as well as in specification with architects, designers, fabricators, specifiers and developers.
