Grant & Stone hits record turnover levels

Buckinghamshire-based builders and plumbers merchant Grant & Stone has achieved its largest turnover month to date.

Grant & Stone hits record turnover levels

November 2010 saw the company reach £3m of sales, the highest-ever monthly sales figures in the company’s 23 year history.

Marketing manager Darren House reports that, for the first time, every section performed ahead of expectations for the whole month.

“Officially the country is not in recession, however, most of us are all certainly feeling the need to cut back on something which makes the fact that Grant & Stone are pushing forward and expanding as well as taking on some great new staff where vacancies have become available even more of an achievement.”

Grant and Stone, partners in independent buying group NBG LLP, have 14 branches across the decorators merchant, builders merchant, plumbers merchant and electrical distributor sector.
