Grange Fencing buys Metpost

Grange Fencing has bought the goodwill and assets of Metpost, from Expamet Building Products Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Metpost has made fence post supports and accessories since 1974 and is the market leader.

Grange’s managing director, Duncan Hill, said: “We are very pleased to be acquiring this well known and respected business. This acquisition is consistent with our strategy and will fit well with our existing operations. ”

The acquisition of Metpost follows on from those of Weston Fencing in 2008 and Britannia Garden Products in 2006.
